Task 8 Student Feedback

From this task using another audience to watch the videos I analysed emphasised how important edition is during a music video. This is what creates an effective video that matches the song effectively. I was also shown that it is important to create a video which matches the songs genre. As Reece expressed the song Do My Thing is a typical pop kind of song for which the video has been made flashy and has used its of editing. The multiscreen shots and colour used in the video matches it to the song perfectly. Reece also talked about the narrative elements of the music videos. He states that Stuck has an effective narrative which illustrates song of the songs lyrics. I will include illustration of lyrics in my video and there will also be clear links with the songs message as a whole to my video.
