Analysis of student videos

I think that all of the videos I analysed were in the A*-B category because they were all clearly music videos and not just narrative stories. Two of the three videos used a wide range of camera angles, shots and editing. Especially do my thing which used a multiple slide edit which matches the genre and age of the song perfectly. I would grade do my thing as an A* because of this and also because of the great lip syncing and casting. This task has given me a great insight into what makes a successful music video. Firstly the song choice is interesting as I had heard none of these songs before watching these videos. For my video i may look for a less well known song which I can then be creative with.
